The Bhutan Media Foundation, in partnership with the Department of Media, Creative Industry and IP, is offering a Basic Journalism Training in Paro from April 14–16, 2025, for fresh college and high school graduates. 

This immersive programme offers expert-led workshops, real-world reporting assignments, and practical training in both print and broadcast journalism. Participants will learn how to research, write, and report with accuracy, integrity, and confidence, while gaining insights into the ethical responsibilities of journalism.

Whether you aspire to be a professional reporter, a multimedia storyteller, or a voice for your community, this training will provide the foundation to launch your journey in journalism. Join a new generation of journalists committed to informing, engaging, and empowering society. 

Who can apply?

• Fresh college and high school graduates with an interest in media and communication
• Individuals keen on developing journalistic skills for career or community engagement
• Applicants who are committed to attending the full training and participating in practical exercises
